James and I were talking about all the things we'd like to do and accomplish. To be really successful, he said, you need to be focused. He urged me to concentrate my efforts on one or two things instead of the many that fill my plate. He said something like this:

When your time, energy and creativity are divided, you can't be the best at any one thing. You can't be the greatest writer. You can't be the greatest blogger. You can't be the greatest mother.

Selah jerked around to face him, indignation coloring her pretty little face. Eyes blazing, she yelled, "Yes, she can! She can be the greatest mother!"
