Painted People

We snuggled on the couch watching one of Shirley Temples' best -- Curly Top. Selah reminds me so much of the little precocious star, it's remarkable.

She watched intently, giggling and bouncing to the song Animal Crackers in My Soup. Selah looked down and extended her arm, then pointed at the screen.

"Look, Momma," she said. "They are not painted like we are!"

This was Selah's first exposure to black and white film/TV. And she noticed.
