So, back home again, I geared up for a new attempt at nutrition. Much to Selah's annoyance.
"You've had enough sweets today," I said. Believe me, she really had.
"But, Mom, I want more ice cream," she whined.
"Look, Selah. You've been eating a lot of junk, lately," I said. "You need to be eating some good food. Food that will make you grow strong and healthy."
"I want some ice cream," she demanded.
"I know you do, Selah," I answered, "but Momma knows what is best for you. And sometimes what you want isn't what is best. It's my job to do what is best for you and Judah."
She paused, sighed and rested her hands on her hips. She raised her chin in determination.
"Well, when I have children," she declared, "I won't give them good food! It will be just desserts."

Shannon,
I can't believe I finally found you. I hope you remember me. Margaret (Crosby) Wells. I live in south Florida now. One husband, two sons. You look the same as you did last time I saw you, beautiful, of course. And that was about 21 years ago, I think. My email address is margaret@tfxusa.com
I'm happy to have found you.
Margaret
Hi Shannon,
I found your blog(s) recently. You and your children are beautiful. You haven't changed a bit since college (physically anyway, I'm sure we've all changed emotionally, at least I hope so). My email is margaret@tfxusa.com Please send me a message and let me know what you're up to.
Margaret (Crosby) Wells
